²⁵ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you cleanse the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside they are full from^[a] [your] plundering and self-indulgence. ²⁶ Blind Pharisee— first cleanse the inside of the cup, in order that the outside of it may also become clean! ²⁷ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you are similar to burial-places having been whitewashed^[b], which outside appear beautiful, but inside are full of bones of dead ones and all impurity!
